they wont be making that drastic of changes besides if the engine gets true 450cc that means more weight will be added as well mainly it'll probably be colors... i wont get rid of mine

as far as pipes goes white brothers are the low end pipes they are nice but performance change wont be much better off taken out the baffel and pop that lid off and rejet it'll run and sound just as good..

this might be a stupid question, and i never thought of asking till now...whats the point of having a lid over the airfilter anyway? just to protect more from dust and whatever?

Congrats. I love mine! WIsh I could ride it more

I haven't done any mods yet, but I will once I start riding more. I say wait on modding. Ride it some stock, then when you DO mod, you can really appreciate the mods and the money spent

I already have my mods picked out. Going to get the HMF Ballance in carbon fiber. It will match my other carbon fiber parts nicely They are cheap on ebay too.. 310 bux!

As far as why use a airbox lid... well, it's pretty wet here. I had my Rappy in water up to the seat. You really need a lid here I don't plan on riding my YFZ like I did my Rappy though.

More weight? If anything it would be less weight. Either way it would be a fraction of a pound.

From what I understand Yamaha de-stroked the the 450 motor 1 mm to make it 439cc's....
I believe they will just be increasing the crank back to its original stroke...
This will not increase the weight....
