When i start my YZ 125 it will only start with the choke up. Once it starts if you push the choke down it will stall. So I leave it up fer a couple minutes until it warms up. Then you have to give it throttle just to keep it running. When you go it runs great until you let off the gas and it starts to bog down like it wants to stall. My uncle says its somethin with the carb. any HELP that can be provided will be appreciated.

u play with the idle? some 2-strokes are finiky about their idle adj. maybe ur pilot is clogged if it bogs when u let off the throttle. it sounds like either ur pilot jet is clogged or u have an air leak somewhere after ur carb.

 

yea it sounds like some kinda carb problem to me ,i would pull the carb off and clean it good you should also pull your reeds out and inspect them look for gaps between the reed and the reed cage

 

Your jets might be messed up but it is definately something wrong inside the carb..
