JUST DEPEND ON WHERE YOU RIDE. iF YOU RIDE WHERE THER ANT ANY WATER HARDLEY I WOULD DO AWAY WITH IT AND GET A PRO FLOW KIT WITH A UNI OR K&N FILTER. IF YOU RIDE WHERE THARE IS WATER OR MUD I WOULD JUST PUTT IN A UNI OR K&N FILTER MAYBE EVEN TRY TAKEING OF YOU YOUR AIR BOX LID.

I dont know what all you have done to your raptor so i cant tell you a hole lot more the what i have. If its stock then i would just drope in a k&n or uni filter. If its jetted and has a pipe you could putt in a filter and remove the lid butt you might hafe to bump up your jetts. K&N makes a cool cover you use if you take off your air box lid. Thay make aluminum air boxs butt i dont know a hole about them. Thay sell them on ebay for about 100 dollers.

if you have the extra $$$ opt for an alluminum airbox and a UNI (since you run by water and mud) and keep the lid off. That set-up is around 150-200$. ( 75$ for box on ebay and about 50$ for K&N+shipping ect..) A more price efficent way is to go with a Pro-Flow, this is a alluminum adapter which you mount in your airbox and then the new UNI or K&N filter simply slids on the adapter and is clamped down with two clamps. This gives you the option of running with the Lid on or off(more power) The seal is also 100X better then the stock setup so it protects your engine alot better. The UNI Pro-Flow kit is 99$ shipped at www.sweetquads.com
