Default How good are the Grizzly 660s

I own three Honda atv's at this time. I have a bad back from a car wreck a few years back and am looking for a better ride than Honda offers. I have spent a ton of money on the 450Foreman which is great in every aspect but the ride. Its super harsh, even after spending 400 bucks for progressive adjustable shocks. I rode a friends Grizzly 660 this past Saturday and fell in love with the machine. It handled lightly even with the bigfoot kit on it and the ride was unreal compared to the Honda. I was wondering what kind of problems has anyone had with the Grizzly and also how tipsy it is due to the height. The Honda is as stable as a mountain goat on hills and slopes sideways or up and down. How does the Grizzly handle in these situations? Thanks alot. I have the Grizzly fever!

The stock tires are the source of the tippiness wrap. Ditch the stock tires as part of the deal. ITP C-series wheels and 6 ply tires make it super stabile. I am running dirt devils, but there are plenty of other great tires. Mine is stabile on just about anything. The only time I rolled it was doing donuts in a mud hole in the middle of a field. It was funny. It climbs hills with my 300 lbs. butt on it like I am not even there. You can also adjust the spring pretention for the ride you want. Good luck.

The Grizzly is a really nice wheeler. It is going to be more tippy than your Foreman and you wont be able to whip it around as easy, but it's a lot faster and has that better ride you were talking about. If you want the king of plush riding get a Polaris. They are by far the best riding ATV's around. They may lack speed, and they weigh more than others, but in my opinion, they have the best ride. But its up to you and if you want a Grizzly, get one. They are still very nice machines.

I met a gentleman one day while riding in North Carolina who was riding a Polaris. We talked a while and he instisted I try it out..You are right, it was like riding in a motor boat over the rough stuff, almost too soft to feel stable. I have heard pros and cons about the Polaris durability. Have you had good luck with yours?
