All I hear is that the Raptor is to TIPPY....its to NARROW it WHEELIES to easily..Well all I can say is that maybe your just not that good of a rider. All those things can be fixed with just a little bit of body movement. I mean do you just go into a corner sitting straight up with a death grip on the handle bars and only turn your head? The Raptor is a great quad great excelleration, lots of power, comfortable ride, good jumper, easy to mod and alot more potential then most of the quads out there. I love riding in the trails and the dunes and have no problems leading the way in either one. My brother in law has a Z400 and it is a great bike as well, but he does not walk a way from me in the trails nor do I walk away from him in the trails. I think that you cant go wrong with either quad both are great machines. But if you are a new rider maybe the Raptor is not for you. I have had no problems with my Raptor and most of them that say they have problems have had alot of motor work done.JMO

Well, if a 470 is racing a stock 660R, well that's obvious that the Z is going to take it, but what if you bore out the raptor? Well see who is talking crap now, I only talk from experience!
You shouldent even have to bore a raptor to keep up or beat a 470cc , the raptor still has about 100cc to its advantage.
Well displacement isn't everything in this game, look at the banshee, it's a 350, YEAH, a 350, and it will beat or keep up with any thing up there, the engines are so different now a days, the Z has more tech on it's engine than the older raptor, the Z has a DOHC engine compared to slower revving SOHC engine of the raptor, just pointing out some points.

Well in a drag, YES, the raptor will beat the Z400. In MX, if both riders have the same experience and are equal riders, the Z will take it, in trails, I'm not really sure, it's up to the rider. But the stock against stock, the raptor has always been faster, has had better acceleration, and more torque, and ponnies!
