Default Tires

Im lookin for tires for my wolverine. I bought the bike new with a itp rim and spyder trac tire setup. Something like 26x12 in back and 26 x 9 in the front. Well now my tires are bald and the spyder tracs are discountinued. I have been lookin at tires what do you think would be a good tire that wouldnt take much power and speed away and a little something else is i love the mud and cant stay out of it. I looked at the mudlites but they seemed a little big what do you think. What about a bearclaw or blackwater?

bearclaws or ITP mudlite would be good. I wouldn't get anything bigger than a 25 thou

thanks for the input but heres my prob i got chrome itp rims i love that fit 26 tires. would the mudlites fit because the spyder tracks r somewhat close to the fenders and the lugs arent as deep

Your rims will fit 25's too. I think the 26's mudlite have a deeper lug thanthe 25's. The 26's bearclaws don't have as deep of lug as the mudlights

well if i can fit 25's on that rim as you say what about the new light swamper or what ever its called something close to that

Tire height isnt a problem for the rims, its the width and rim size. Since the mudlites are going to be the same size as the swampers you took off I dont see a fitment problem. The 25" tires have 2 different tread lengths, standard and the deeper, more aggressive XT.

im pretty sure my rims are 12's not too positive, and there're decently wide

Your stock tires are:

Tires/Front AT23 x 8-12
Tires/Rear AT23 x 10-12

They are 12" diameter and since you already have wide tires in the rear then you know they will fit. I would suggest 9" wide tires on the front and 10" wide tires on the rear for maneuverability.
