I took mine out after about 10 hours...and it works the same, and the plug is tan on mine, so i didn't have to rejet. If you take it out, sometimes there a b*tch to get back in. I took mine out to hear how it sounds, i liked the sound and the spark arrester was bent to hell and back, so i just didn't put it back in. and just to let you know, its pretty loud without it. if you decide to take it out...let me know, ill tell you how i did it (it can be hard sometimes)

its simple, i have done it before, the reason why it was easy for me is becuase i took it out and put it back in when there was hardly any carbon build up. thanx for your input, i think im goin to ride for a couple more hours before i do so.

Yeah, take the screw out, and just get some good vice grips and pull it out. Usually, its stuck in there reeaal good. I had to get a torch (cutting torches) and heat the metel around it till it got red hot. Then it came out barely.

i removed mine after the first ride. it came out fairly easy account it was new. it 's a fair amount louder. if you have any backfires or lean spots, open your fuel screw a little.

i grabbed mine with some vise grips. with some twisting and pulling it came out. try a little wd-40 to loosen it up.
