I know like they did with the Wolverine....that's so lame...I agree, they BETTER make something WAY worth ge tting rid of two great quads in history, the blaster has been around for a long time and the Banshee is just a GREAAAAAAAAAAT machine....so I dont think they can really top putting down two awsome quads....

 

don't worry i hear Bomb will fill the void that yamaha will leave. Word is that they are going to release a 450cc 2 stroke

 

I doubt you'll see a Banshee replacement. I think thats what they are trying to achieve by redesigning the new Raptor. As far as the Blaster goes I read they might put the YZF250 dirtbike motor into a quad chassis. Either way, with the new 06 Raptor and YFZ I think its safe to say that you're gonna see a lot more Yamahas on the tracks and trails than any other manufacturer.

 

That really sucks. It would have been great to see a new updated banshee with better suspension ect.

Oh well. Thats really amazing. 19 years of production with only one change. The J-Arms to A-arms.

it was time for the shees to go....its better to go out ontop than hang around for a few extra years gettin beat by the new kids (4 strokes) day after day.

i think yamaha will lose a huge chunk of business without the banshee, not to mention the people trying to sell aftermarket stuff.

 

the banshee will still be around if u dont mined getting used ones.......... those dam tree hugers ruin everything..............they are so much fun to ride

 

well.. who cares about the blaster.. they just suck. Its the Banshee Ill miss.. i love them things.. went on a ride on one the other day.. didn't like it on the the trails but on the road it was insane! Not much about the Blaster tho.. cause they suck im my opinion.. made for beginners.. besides ShavO.

yea sad but true I dont think i will want a yamaha quad now not i will be getting me a raptor 700, i wonder if yamaha will make any other quads to take up the 2 spots maybe be a 250 or 200 4 stroke.
