2 questions about A-arms

1. Are they usually lighter than the stock a-arms?
2. Do they lower the center of gravity?

depending on what kind of metal they are made of they can be lighter and yes they do lower the center of gravity and give you better handling

Yes and no
Some are lighter some are heavier.
Some will make your bike handle better some are crap and will make it handle worse.
Do your homework.
