oil filter?

Does anyone know another brand oil filter that is not as pricey as the yamaha oil filter and what the part number is? I need it for a 05 kodiak 400.

emgo makes them pretty cheap i think they are about 50 bucks from rockymoutain atv
not sure of part #

FIFTY BUCKS for ONE oil filter. Ohh my God!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think I pay 14.00 for mine from Yamaha. If I paid 50 bucks everytime I changed my oil which is once a month, I would just sell my fourwheeler.

check out the cross reference in this list. There are many filters which can be used, other than the oem.

who said fifty bucks?, the filter i bought was like 5 bucks...it was manufactured in like england i think
