i got this one off of a sand forum somewhere and boy i love it what you do is go down below your front sprocket behind your shifter there are two wires, the one that plugs in is your reverse switch. follow that up it will go between two clips or bendable clamps that hold it to the motor go to the top 1 that is by the swingarm top. youll need about a 2 inch piece of wire , a wire splice and an electrical connector that goes around a bolt. take that top bolt off on the clip ,splice into the green/white wire (it has a black cover over it strip it off ) attach it behind the clamp, bolt it back together and that is it. i did it cuz i could never get it to back up in the woods with out dieing. but now it hauls *** in reverse . also the reverse light will no longer work

 

I put on on my 2003 kodiak 450 and aslo love it. NO more embarassing sputter when reversing out of a mud hole.
