2-strokes have a noticable powerband {banshee in paticular}, They give you a" JOLT" when you hit it. 4-strokes have a power band also, but it is spread out over the entire rpm range. 2-stroke=explosive, 4-stroke =linear. Forgive me is this sounds wrong, I'm quite buzzed right now.

 

lol^^ no it sounds right.. a 2stroke has more of a snappy powerband.. maybe only from the 4k-6k range on maybe a shee.. but on like a raptor it's more of the 3-8k range..

 

Actually on a shee the power band kicks in at 6500 rpm, any thing below and you are ******* the bike {difficult to make power}. Banshee is all or nuthing. Again if thid doesn't sound right............................................. .....................

 

I love my ds, better than banshee, but NUTHING compares to hitting that banshee power band. It's an eye opener.

the only quad that comes with a power band standard, would be the raptor 50 but it cost 300 bucks more.
