ABxtreme,

That's a great price. Do you carry CT Racing?

Hey yall....Get this:

I put the stock silencer back on just for a comparison. She pulls even harder in the mid range! Had to lean forward more than usual thru 2nd and 3rd to keep the front end down. I did notice less low and top end...not enough to matter.

What's up with that? I think the Big Gun was actually slowing me down!

I have the largest jets you put in the carbs, and the plug looked good with the big gun. It may richen up a bit now.

Maybe I was still too lean?

Hi Masterraptor,

Just called CT Racing, and Yes we can get those.
They did stress that they recommend their jet kits with the pipes to get max performance.
We can do part number PP-2603-CH for $449.00 Shipped.
If you have any questions, feel free to Private Message us so we are sure to get it.

Thanks

I have been searching the forum. The general consensus is that the CT pipe dyno is optimistic. Maybe I should do HMF. Everyone likes HMF, right?

Thanks, man. But I think that I am going with CT since I have a lot of mods to my engine. I still would like to know how the HMF does on your 450.

The Big gun is primarily a top end pipe. It will work well if the jets are tuned right. You have to put in big mains and lean the needles. I need more low and mid range for the type of riding I do. Plus, I have a mid range cam. I think it's just not a good match for my setup.

CT or Sparks. HMF is good for stock engines, but for your kind of engine, Sparks is used by most known builders. And it's not a disc system. The prize may be a bit higher than HMF, but it sure pays off!
