my cdi is going bad and i noticed that an 01 raptor had a diferent part number then 02 and 03 raptor. the 04 and 05 also have diferent numbers. i would think they all use the same one but with different yamamha part numbers they must be different. any one know?

 

They are different, the plugs are not the same and the 01 doesn't have a reverse rev limiter.
