I just bought a 2001 Banshee and want to kick performance to the next level, but don't want to sacrifice the low sound levels of the stock exhaust. What pipes provide the best performance and the quietest noise level. I am looking for low to mid gains.

I dunno of any performance pipe that will be as quiet as the stockers and will give the great leaps in performance. I personally run T-5's (toomeys) on my wifes bike and when we need to quiet things down they make a Hush Kit that really does not affect performance that we noticed. Check out www.toomey.com . You would need to buy the pipe kit and the hush kit but its reasonable for the flexibility and gain I think.
