has the value of my Raptor dropped?

Just like with cars, once the new model is out the value is only what someone is willing to pay you for it. It's 117 degrees here in Vegas today, who wants to sit in your garage and rejet when fuel injection is here? I'll wait until the 2nd year when all of the bugs have been worked out before I make a purchase. Check out the Kelly blue book values on-line to see what the value is, both trade-in and retail.

I would think somewhat, yes. That is the thing with all these motorized toys, depreciation is killer. As long as you like what ya got though, it doesn't matter.

Seems to me after the 700 was seen that ebay was full of them. The prices didnt seem to be going very high. Thats what happened to me around 2002. I had 250 and 500 quadracers and when the new 4stroke models hit the value went down. The same thing happend to the 250r to.

I believe the resale value will drop in the future once the bugs are worked out of the 700R
I'm sure there will be some awsome deals on left over 660's next in the showrooms
