Default tough decision

alright, I have a little decision to make. I want to buy either a new quad or a new crotch rocket. I currently have two suzuki 185's to ride around on, but those aren't that great at catching air, or at least the landing part. and I currently have a kawasaki ninja 600 rocket to ride around on, but it is a little weak in the power category. so, I have been trying to decide between buying a quad (yfz 450) or a rocket (either a gsx-r750 or a yzf r6).

I know a quad is year round, but a rocket you can ride on the road. and our riding areas have been becoming smaller and smaller lately. any suggestions would be appreciate. I'm sure there is a bunch of ya out there that had to make the same choice or one similar. and then there is the lucky bastards that buy both.

Less chance getting picked off by an eighty year old who didn't see you on the dirt! Live longer ride on the dirt! My opinion only...

that's a good point, but I think it can be just as dangerous riding in an area where people tend to loose track of each other. it is also scary haulin' down a one way path and not knowing if some idiot, that isn't supposed to be ridin' on your property, is going to come and nail you head on. as far as safety goes, I think I get a little more crazy on a quad then I do on a bike.

and money is still kind of a factor, because I'm still going to college. I would love to get a gsx-r1000, but that is a lot of power I would probably never use and the insurance jumps between a 600 and 750. I'm not sure if insurance is different for a 750 and a 1000. I'm sure the insurance company gets a little less willing to cover ya when you start increasing the power.
