i have just bought a stock 05 rappy, and i was wondering what was the best gear for the fastest possible start for the bike, i have tried to do tests but when im in 1st i feel that with the high revs and awsome torque i am going really fast ut would i be going faster in 2nd, 3rd etc. so which gear should i start in and how many revs? cheerz.

 

i start in second in grass, dirt and sand. i just hold it at like 3/4 throttle then dump the clutch and WOT through the gears. make sure your leaning all the way over your handlebars too so it spins out the tires. then as soon as it grabs traction sit your *** alltheway on the back of the seat and duck down. When i race on pavement i roll the clutch out in 1st gear off idle and it lifts the front end and i progressivly give it more gas why'll keeping the front end a few inches off the ground.
