has anyone ever or know of any kind of open class racing at the beach/shore? I've seen video's of it, where they race atvs, dune buggys, sand rails, jeeps, trophy trucks etc. from one point of the beach to another, kinda like a sprint. I was just wondering if there is anything like that around anymore, and on the east coast. I'm thinking of building another banshee with rz gearing and cpi pipes, and i think a race like that would be fun to do it with.

Um, if youve seen videos and stuff, those videos might be filmed in Mexico.

Here in california, the only beach we can ride on is Pismo. And trust me, if you go fast enough to scare the birds when your near the water, your getting a ticket.

I have seen some crusty demons motox videos where they are racing down the beach, and im 99% sure it is down in Mexico. Down there, anything goes.

i saw the video by chance again last night...it was actually in a movie...the goonies, darn. I do know there are races at the beach though, anyone else know what i'm talking about?
