There is a jet kit on its way, but no one has said that it is required so far. To answer the other question who is it tuneable it has 12 discs and I am told that it will run richer or leaner depending on how many discs are used. It is louder than stock but not obnoxious like a cobra pipe or anything like that. As for 4 stroke pipes being a waste of money -whatever- If whoever replied with that post thinks that the raptor is enough the way it is should ride something else. Is there ever enough power? And another thing, I won't be gearing my bike down. It flies with the stock gearing so its staying that way. To each his own but don't knock what the other guy is doing just cuz you don't want to.

Just droped by my dealer, and they just happen to have a White Bros. slip on R4 exhaust silencer for the raptor that hadn't been spoken for yet. Bought it, put it on my machine, and it sounds good. It came with a dyno chart. If someone can post it I'll email it to them, I don't have a way to post it.
It reads:
Stock Peak HP: 33.7
R4 pipe Peak HP 36.6
RPM Stock Piped
2000rpm - 7hp 7hp
3000rpm - 14hp 17hp
4000rpm - 20hp 24hp
5000rpm - 28hp 33hp
6000rpm - 33.7hp 36.6hp
7000rpm - 30hp 32hp
8000rpm - 18hp 22hp
9000rpm - 3hp 5hp
The graph is very steep and comes right to a peak and then goes steeply drops off. Looks like your best power area is between 5000 and 7000 rpm.
The pipe is a straight through type that is us forest service approved.
Hope the info helps.

take a close look at the WB ad it looks fabicated to me.you know take a picture of a raptor a and add a piture of pipe to it.got a raptor thurs. love everything but the airfilter(worse than banshee) and the top heavy feel(kind of like being on top of a fat girl, doesn't quite feel right but gets the job done). i've got a ct310r which smokes the raptor everywhere but in the maintaince department.

Last time I was at Silver Lake I raced a Raptor around on my 400EX for about half an hour. I have a WB e-series with 14 discs which is very loud. Normally when I run next to stock quad I can't hear anything but my own exhaust but I could hear the stock Raptor loud and clear. I think the WB pipes are one of the loudest pipes out there for the 400EX. Are they even louder on the Raptor?
