z 400 is way better for one.. the rappy 350 feels weak..

aftermarket parts will make it rly fast.. or u can mod it to what u want.

dont just look at z400... look at the KFx 400 and the arctic cat 400 and see what u can get teh best deal on.. they are all teh same just different plastics.

 

Ha, yeh the 350 is a nice quad no doubt but in the future if u want more power i would go with the Z, but its all up yo you

 

dude raptor 350's stock are weak period. I mean for god sakes you have to almost break your back to get it to do a wheelie sitting down stock. My friend has one and he had to put a slip on pipe, gytr filter, jet it, and put a different front sprocket on it for it to keep up with my stock z in the fields. Just get a z400 you will be so much happier. Better in every thing in every way. The only thing the raptor is better at is sucking *** compared to the z....But remember, this is just comparing it to the z. It doesn't mean its a bad quad, but you would have more fun on the z. Oh and even with all of his stuff my stock z still beats it by 3 to 4 bike lengths

 

Well i just sold my rap 350 a few months ago and now got a kfx,so i'll tell you what i know.The raptor 350 isn't at all a bad quad,it has decent power and is all around a decent quad.It has its ups and downs,but can hold its on against anything out in the trails and can take small jumps pretty good.Though the raptor 350 is very hard to wheelie in stock form,but that can be fixed.However the kfx/z is alot better in just about every category and is the better machine and if you can afford a z400,then get it,if not the raptor 350 will make you very happy as well.

 

First of Suzuki built the Z-400 as their top end sport qaud. Yamaha's Raaptor-350 isnt their top end bike. I have an 04 YFZ-450 I dragged it down a qauter mile driveway I think hit somewhere close to 75mph or 80mph on a four wheeler you dont want to go that fast unless you farting crazy. If you do be ready to face the consiqunces a$$-hole if you wreck at that speed youll probally be killed or paryilized or never be able to ride again. So to answer your question Raptor-350 and Z-400 are both great qauds the only atvange to the Z-400 would probally be in toruqe and launch accelration.

well i just recently bought a raptor 350, and its a pretty good bike i wish it had a little more umph and a little more ground clearance i seem to get hung in ruts alot with it. For me i wish i would have gotten something a little bigger but im 185 pounds and 6'0 tall. I think i will be happy with it once i make some mods to it, if not ill trade it in this spring for a 700r. Its still alot of fun to ride though, and on trails theres really no problems keeping up with the guys i ride with. I would probably rate it 7 out of 10 for me.

my warrior 350 stays next to z400's all the way through our drags, even top end, read my mods, these things open up with the right mods, i would suggest the suzuki z400 though because for the price i paid to have to get mine to the same speed u might as well just pipe the suzuki and blow a 7 thousand dollar raptor 350 away.... I like the 350 better but i suggest the z400... wierd i know
