Default Which to buy for uphill racing?

I am looking for a machine that will stomp on some moderately modded shees. I am looking at the 06 450 but wonder if a pre 06 rap will have more potential. I know what these machines will do out of the box and am not worried about that. I am talking major power adders here. Large shot of Nitrous along with turbo perhaps. Is the rap the best choice? Or is it maybe the DS or even the big ole Kawy? thanks for your input! and yes I did a fair amount of searching but still longing for more input.

Yeah, i would say that the rap has more potential when there are major mods done. But the new 06 raptor with FI is proabably what you want espeically if your going to be dealing with NO2 and a possiable turbo. They are going to be monsters.

we dont care about your r1 or anything we tell u about 4 wheelers. I have a japanese street bike and it gos 300 stock so dont compete with that. i would go with a banshee it your doing sand because alot of mods. or the yfz because it has more pickup. But overall i would go with the yfz 450

The Raptor has more potential than the 450. It is the ultimate hill shooter next to a Banshee but you don't have to kick start it.Click here to see my 686 run hills Alot of guys are now going with a 730 now...That is fast and powefull as well as capable of duning. A Banshee once built for hill shooting is only good for hill shooting and not much else. The yfz450 is a great second choice but costs more to build and I think would be less reliable in the long run . A Raptor motor would last alot longer.
