Default Street bike Question

I am going to be purchasing a 2002 yamaha r6. I was just wondering if this was a good deal. The guy imj purchasing it from is a good friend i just wanted to get the numbers down.

Here goes, Its a 2002 r6 it has 9k miles on it. Its been repainted, dumped once with very minor damage to the pipe and tank. It has frame sliders a larger rear sprocket, brand new dunlop tires with only a few miles on them. The bike is in fair condition. The exhaust on it was $1300, I forget the brand name but i know thats how much it was. I beleive he wants 4600 and hes throwing in a $400 aria helmet. Just wondering what all of you thought.

I know its not a quad question but i didnt know where else to ask.

Depends on alot of things. My 03 R6 ran me 230/year for full coverage State Farm ( clean record, married, house etc...) Progressive wanted 2600/year. Now for my 05 R1 it runs me 242/year, Progressive = 3500/year. Do some checking before buying any kind of a sportbike

What about 22 and a clean record I bet that gets a little higher maybe I will wait a few years. Not as much as a thought it would be though.

if ur buying something from a friend, always make sure he is not ripping u off because friends have the urgeto do that to u because they think u will not get mad at them.
