well if this is any indication, my son (two) will pop wheelies and do nac nacs on the ground of course on his battery powered 4 wheeler. he has to put his knees on the back of the seat but he can pull it up and ride it for maybe a foot. He scares my wife lol. He even watches Huevos with me and trys to imitate them on his little quad.

Yeah my kid will be on a set of wheels in about 7 months when he/she gets here. Kinda sucks though considering i found this out on my b-day. I'm gonna teach mine to ride from day 1.

heck i wish i coulda started on a banshee!!! lol!

i saw a video on the internet of a little kid (i think he was 3 or 4!!!) and he was on an atc90 or 50 or whatever! man he was good for a little kid. be could do donuts and just ride around like normal. and im not talking just putting. he was on a little, and i mean little MX track. he was hitting this one jump and getting good air for a 3 year old! it was crazy. that kids going to go pro someday. lol let me see if i can find a link to those videos...
yea, its pretty awsome. my dad and me took my 6 year old sister on a ride on my 100cc and at first we started off with me driving and she was sitting in front learning but then she told me she wanted to try to ride it by herself so i told her to go slow the first time and i followed her and she was doing ride....... by the end of the day she mastered quading. she could ride through trails with ease. i wish i started at the age of 6. at first i was scared sumthing would happen to her and she would fall off of sumthing but she did really good for a first time. soon she will get even better.

good luck with that

My little sister is about 3 and i take her on (short) (slow) (safe) rides on my little brothers raptor 80. i tried to teach her how to press the thumb throttle and she did but she got scared and never wanted to press is again. oh well. im just trying to stray her away from the horse scene my other sister puts off. i want her to be a quad girl. not a horse girl. lol! oh well. i guess thats the difference between girls and boys... well, most

I started my eldest son riding at about age 7 . Bad judgement on my part . My second son I waited til 13 . I am in the ATV business and hear on a weekly basis of kids and injuries .

While I do understand the thrill of ATVing with the kids and sharing the sport , I am also aware of the dangers .

I know how fathers think -- I am one -- but -- young children on sport quads is very risky , bad things happen .

Rick
