my buddy knows a guy who is selling a 98 wolverine for like $2000, he said it is a blueish-greenish color, what year did they start making the team yamaha blue, could it be this color?? It sounds like a deal too good to be true, but I haven't seen it yet, anything to look out for?? whatcha guys think??

Jeeze $2000 american dollars for a '98 wolverine...I'd take it, even with it converted to canadian funds.

Why is the price so low??...must be something wrong with it.

I believe they started making the Yamaha blue in 99. The color he is discribing is a lot different than that. If I was looking to buy another Wolv. I would check the wheel bearing in the front. Just grab a hold of the wheel and try and move it in and out on the top and bottom. Check all of the fluids the back differ. and the front differ. a long with the oil. you might want to drain the differ oil and engine to look for discoloration and debris. If the seller will let you. Check to see if the axle is bent and the seals are still good on the back axle. Check CV boots up front. Take the air cleaner bax off to make sure there is no mud in it or anything. If any body else has and suggestions add them. That is all I can think of for know though.
