I pulled out my blaster's reeds and found that one was .020 of an inch off. The resond I pulled them out was because it was spuddering, badly. Should I replace them, or could my problem be a gap in the intake boot letting in to much air because it ran hot enough to change my fmf pipe a rainbow color.

The reeds being warped will cause the blaster to run rich also if boot is cracked it will run lean. replace asap.

So basically I need to replace the reeds and check the air box boot for cracks? Is there anything else that could cause it to sputter and barly take off?

Not to be a smart a$$, but how is your plug? 2 strokes are picky about the spark they get.
