Default Piped without jets?

I just put my pipe on last night and havent jetted it yet. When I got home from work today I started it up and took it down the street and back, then parked it. It ran fine. then about 45 mins later I went to move it to my backyard and it would only idle, whenever I gave it some throttle it killed. I know its because of the jets, I just wanted to make sure I didn't do any damage to the internals. thanks,
scott

If it was fine and then it went crappy all of a sudden without warning.. thats not right, maybe did you leave your parking brake on? Or something to do with the reverse rev limiter maybe.

When you put high flow headers on a quad you should re-jet, beacuse you are going to have more airflow. So just re-jet......................did you run out of gas lol

Nope didn't run out of gas... lol. I know it's because of the jets and stock intake still on it. I just want to reasure myself that I didn't damage anything. I only ran it for about 4 mins total. It idle's fine, it's just when I give it some gas, it bogs down and pops a little bit then dies.

if it ran great for 4min and then stoPed working corectly like your decribing, its definatly more then the jets, or you would of had those smpthoms from the begining. see if your carbs poped off the boots....

Check to make sure the floats didnt get stuck closed/open. Tap on the bowl with the end of a screw driver.
