Default How to take out raptor carbs?

Remove Throttle plate cover from thumb throttle
Turn the throttle cable adjuster in
Operate the throttle all the way, grab the cable and release it from the arm
Pull the cable from the thumb throttle housing.
Remove the rubber covering the carbs, its bolted to the frame with Phillips screws.
Using a 12mm wrench loosen the choke cable from the carb

There's an easier way to do it.

On the left side of the bike, down near the petcock, is a triangular shaped plate with three screws holding it in. Remove the screws and the plate. The throttle cable feeds into here and attaches to the carbs via a brass bolt. Pull the brass bolt out with a set of needle nose and remove the throttle cable from this. Simply slide the cable out.

Everything else is simple, just remove the choke plunger and undo all your allan head bolts for the carb boots.
