So i was getting my bike ready for the drags tonight. She has been sitting for about 3 months, with the ocassional putt around the block. Go to load up the bike, turn the fuel **** on, and fuel starts dumping out of the bottom of my float bowls. Wont stop leaking on until i turn the fuel off... it will fire right up when the fuel is leaking out the bottom? It did this before a while ago then one day it just stopped and hasnt given me any trouble till today? Any help?

i shot compressed air down the fuel line and fuel shot out the top, no luck. I allready torn down the carbs down and shot carb cleaner down every f-ing little hole, and the float bowls are not stuck.

My room mate has a 2002 < i think> raptor. His did it once, I took the carb off took it apart and cleaned it really well with some berimans b12 or brake cleaner. Anyhow, clean out the main and pilot jets also. Sometimes dirt gets down in the float bowls the floats get stuck. Compressed air might help but the best bet is to take them apart and clean the crap out of them.

Either your floats are way out of adjustment or the needels are not sealing. It is also possible that the drain screws are not selaing.

the same thing happend to my friend its that the floats are stuck and so there just pouring gas cause they manage the amount of fuel to let into the carb but since it is stuck its just pooring out so try to take them apart and check the boles then put them back should fix it
