Hello Yamaha People!! A good friend is looking at a '03 Kodiak 400, it only has about 300 miles on it and looks like new and he is asking $4100 for it. Is this a good price? Sounds high to me, but I don't know much about Yamaha.

 

suggested retail in '03 was $6,199,,,you could probably get it for $5,800 or $5,900 after haggling,depending what time of the year you were shopping for it

its rapidly approaching 3 years old,again depending when it was bought,,,any extras? like plow,winch,handguards,shockwears,performance mods?

its probably on the edge of high,price wise if i was looking to buy if nothing had been done as far as upgrades

 

also,tell your wife to be carefull on that Eiger,,,my buddy had one, brandnew red 400 Eiger this year,and the thing was real bouncy going up,and down hills,he ended up with two pretty bad wipeouts within 3 months of having it,the second got him a helocopter ride out,and in 5 years ive never seen him wreck his Polaris at all,,,,he sold it,and took a pretty bad beating on it
