I know that Kenz is running off-the-shelf rings, cams, pistons, and valves. That only leaves head porting as the thing that Kenz could "look at and improve."

I know that there is zero similarity between a Craycraft, Barker, or Tedder ported Raptor head.

In reference to my "looked at" statement, I was generalizing about engine combinations. Not that he has visually looked at others port work and improved upon them. Which is definately not the case. His port work is definately of his own design. The porting on my stock-carbed 67 RWHP gas-powered dune cruiser doesn't look like anyone elses port work that I have seen.

 

Care to back up that statement with facts?

Also, not mention any builders names in particular, care to comment on certain builders subletting out almost all of their work to other people? Such as boring, valve work, and crank work. And as I hear will soon be subletting out his, which he doesn't do now anyway, porting to a well known competitor as well. Wouldn't that just make a builder just a parts assembler?

Kenz does almost entirely their own work in house. Porting, boring, milling, valve work, etc........

The real reason 14mins and Ubetrun won't come to Glamis is because they are afraid of the hill and the whoops. 14mins went up and then was too scared to come down. Heck I've seen 5 year olds go up and down. So don't talk all that smack about not getting a fair shake at Glamis. As for admitting losses, We admitted losing to Sparks 2 years ago and came back and did alot better the next year. Now the bar is even higher for this year thanks to competition not slamming builders. So stop being childish and let's all get along.
