cant we all just get along? I think everyone needs to realize there is more than a SELECT FEW engine builders out there that have done there OWN r and d and can get respectable hp numbers out of there bikes! Everyone has there own techniques (at least they used to) on how to make the hp..... but i think if two builders can work together without taking glory from one another so be it! Me personally.... I like to go to down to Robertson Cycle... watch my work being done and when i go riding, grin ear to ear seeing mine and the rest of the raptors running top notch!

 

To get the most upsetting thing out of the way first, ive never seen a craycraft motor opened up. Ive never once had one of his heads in my hands, nor have i seen a picture of his work. Only craycraft i have even seen was Sams and it was in one peice and running on my dyno, ive never been inside that motor or ANY other motor that has had work done by another builder. Period. If anybody has anything to say to me about my work you can tell me personally, dont talk behind my back because i feel everybody here is better then that. If you want the truth you always go to the source.

Second, i am a small shop and i do a few motors here and there. Im too busy to do the full time thing like CR or Kenz so ill stay small and ill enjoy the bikes im able to work on. I build bikes because i enjoy it, not to make money off of it or to compete in internet racing.

Like i said, good job to everybody but its only racing and everybody did well. Leave it at that...i have a feeling the CR cam is coming out though just to help prove a point that there are many different ways to make a motor run.

We had a good time building that bike. We all kind of sat down over a box of pizza (a few times! lol) and discussed what we were going to do for a game plan on the raptor. I pulled a few strings and had lonestar build me a custom one-off swingarm for the bike. Overall it was a lot of fun and i made a few good friends out of the build too. Im going to be out of town for a week so if anybody wants to talk to me about this or the whole "copying" subject PM dancingqueen and she'll get your number and ill call you later that evening.

Could not have said it better myself. Most, but not all, of the guys who support CR are just regular guys trying to have fun racing and meeting people, but you get the UBETRUN,s and the DOLLARSHILLZ, and the 14mins who try to do ANYTHING to discredit any builder or person who does not support Craycraft. We all saw it a few weeks ago, and here we are again..

Nope, I would have to say its the other way around, even builders have said they tried to tell them not to start **** on the internet and they do it anyway. That came from a PM sent to me by a builder on this forum himself!! I have never started anything on this forum but have stuck up for my builder each time someone puts them down. They are all great builders, if they werent their names would have not been mentioned in this thread.

You have been there on the other threads, MichaelAZ is a good example of this.
