i have a real camfire story, lol.
my group went up to the u.p. (upper michigan) to a place called big bear( i think) we rented a motel room, right off of lake superior. the owners( super people!!!) barbicued every night for the guests. the owner( man) befriended a vary large bear, witch when standing on all 4, was at eye level with him( he is around 5 10) we also fed large ammounts of deer. well, on our 1st night, he told us the bear might come to the fire, so if he does, dont move fast( i was allready wooried. )
well, on night 3, after around 10 7&7,s, while it was vary dark, the kind of dark you only see in caves, i hear a noise behind me. ( i was concerned, lol) then, the owners wife shines the flashlight directly over my shoulder, and said vary camly, dont move!!! at this point, i was clinching to keep from squeezing one off. i then slowly started to stand, where she repeats, dont move. slowly putting my 7&7 down, i explained to her, i dont have to be the fasest, only faster than her, lol. then everyone started laughing vary loud, and pointing. it was then i realised that it was not a bear, but either a deer, or some other fairly large animal. the joke was on me, and i needed 10 more 7&7,s to calm down.
by the way, what a place to ride at!!! waterfalls, mountains, river crossings, and anything else you can emagine( i am a city boy, so this was amazing to me) i am a good sport, but some jokes are just too cold, lol!!!

on your post, good post, but some people may have issues with anyone running from the police is all. some of us fight the good fight to keep the trails open, and when we read or see this happen, it defeats our efforts. to say the least, ya at least have to understand that, dont ya?

my faviorite time riding was when i was wit a 3 of my friends they had utes i had a raptor 660 we were all riding on the road thinking no one would care out of no where this police man who i hate from many times before not quading thou fireworks stuff like that well anyway he tells us to stop and pull over so all my friends did i was like i hate this guy im going to get him so pissed so we pulled over into the dirt and he came right behind us and i did a burnout rocks and dust allover he flipped i got him so bad he had all these marks well i started to run on the bike he got in his car chased me for like an hour he even went on a dirt trail i lost in the woods but i got in so much trouble becuse he knew where i lived from before he gave me like a 250$ fine it was worth it the to see his face when i opened the door i still ride but a ute sometimes the raptor i even ride wit that police man to haha

Heres one .Awhile back when i was about 15 me and a buddy were riding my honda fat cat (not an atv but still cool) at about 11 at night in this big field in the woods.Well,the chain comes off,so we kill it to put it back on...Well all of a sudden we heard theese blood curdling growls getting closer and closer....MAN that chain was not wanting to go back on, but finally we got that thing on and booked it about 100 yards to my buddys trailer.So we kill it and start beating on the door and screaming and hollering for them to let us in.Man those growls were getting real close so we couldnt take it we ended up beating a hole in the door before that craphead opened it. lets just say his paw wasnt happy when he came back from the bar at about 3 in the morning!!

When there is a ditch with a lip and a cop cruiser in front of it with a cocky mx rider on a cr500, it is quite possible.He basically jumped over the hood but still, he got away after that.HE just wanted this chase to be a memorable one.And to scare the crap out of the cops so they would get farther away from their cruiser so he would have more time to run.Just because you are a good little law abider at all times and dont like to get a little kick out of cop stops once in a while isnt my problem.And anyway, it wouldnt be too hard to jump over the hood of a car, for god sakes.Especially with the lip on this ditch, kids made a runway to it a while back to jump the road, unfortunately the cops blocked it, but he kept goin.

 

i know it is possible....i just highly doubt your friend did that

 

OK, I can see why some ppl would make fun of this thread. First of all, its called campfire stories, that sounds like some cheap porno flick, then, you tell everyone an interesting cop chase. But what <u>IS</u> the bull$hit is that your friend on a cr500, perhaps superman, jumped over the cop car. Just like that cow used to jump over the moon when I was 6. right before bedtime. If ur going to say something that crazy, consider the fact that no one is going to believe you.
