For you drag Raptor guys!!
I was just curious, but with the new 700's coming out, will that effect the 660 drag bikes you have? Will the new thing be Researching and Developing the new 700 Rappy's and the 660's will kind of be thrown out the window so to speak? I know a lot of the technology can be transfered over, but I was just curious none the less.
Also do you guys think EFI will be used on future drag bikes?

EFI will always have its up side and be a possible gain on any quad including drag quads. For the time being it will be a while before someone drops the $$ into the 700 to be competitive with the 660 (unless they just have $$ to throw away LOL)... You have to consider there are still people dragn the 400ex. The thing about putting 20G into a quad is you can't simply "throw it out" LOL... I forsee someone swapping the EFI onto the heavily modded 660's to get a few more ponies out of them. Properly set up the EFI should be more "snappy" but I still wouldn't think it would be worth more then a few HP.

Trust me I know I dropped a good 15-20G in mine only to have UPS LOOSE the bottom end of my engine.
And yes every HP counts but I think the EFI would have averaged about a G per HP, but with the new 700's out and with Yamaha making a EFI kit then it may be a little cheaper. Heck they may even see more then a few Hp out of it... I honestly would think it would just be the "snappy" throttle response that would be the gain, and considering in drags you are comming off the line WFO anyway then it just wouldn't be that great of a gain... On the trails it would be a totally different thing though.
