atkrider: The only reason it puts out more HP stock is because it's not as detuned as the YFZ is. All the mods needed to be done to bring a stock YFZ to the same HP as the YZ are free mods like cam mod and removing the exhaust baffle. The YZ engine isn't any different besides a smaller bore size (or stroke?), therefore the power output will be the same. It's cool that you've put it together so cheap though, congrats!

I'd say a good 10+ hours. It's quite time consuming, I didn't think it was gonna take as long as it did but once you start doin it you realize theres alot of tight places to try to buff. They use very thick and hard paint too, the best way to remove it is some heavy duty paint remover, but still it doesn't like to come out of the little nooks and crannies easily.
Plan on having sore hands afterwards lol

exactly! most are free mods. the YFZ45 has basicly the same potential.
