Default banshee getting hot?

hey does have a problem with there banshee getting hot. I replace the hoses, had the radiator clean, checked water pump(still turning), used stuff supposed to keep it 40 degrees cooler, . . . maybe water pump has a sheer pen or something in it, and it only gets hot when your getting on it hard in the trails, like spinning the tires or knocking over trees. its okay just riding or jumping or holding it wide open. so the only thing left i might should replace may be the water pump, any suggestions?

Welcome to the forums.

The problem might not even be the radiator, most likely your carbs need to be rejetted, pull out the plugs and take a look, my bet is your running to lean.

When you are running hard but arnt moving very fast your radiator isn't getting enough air flow to keep it cool. The Banshee doesnt have a fan like on other machines. You can get a aftermarket radiator but they are $4oo + and they still need air flow.
Banshee's just dont like to go slow!

Of all the people I know that have banshees none of them ever had overheating problems as far as I know. That would lead me to believe that it's not just because of slow riding. I would check the jetting and make sure you're not running lean. Running lean will cause more problems in the long run if it isn't fixed, so I would investigate that before just accepting the overheating as a normal thing.
