Havent been around in a while

Hey guys, havn't been around these parts much in the last year or so. Good to see some familiar names still here and helping everyone out. To give ya a little update I built the blaster as far as it would go and then sold it to move onto a new project. Right now I've got a 88 250R in the process of doing a complete rebuild, keeping most of the motor stock but adding some suspension upgrades, axle, etc.
Unfortunally Im being ripped off for a set of brand new burgard a-arms as we speak, costing me about 450 bucks US (around 550 canadian) so the project took a major blow and may have to be set of the back burner as I get back to finish my last year at collage.
Anyways, just thought I would say hey, good to see ya'll again

Shav0,
Glad to have you back. If you trick out that 250R anywhere close to what you did to your blaster, you should lay the smack down on almost anyone. What major are you finishing up in at college?

Major? lol, Im not smart enough for that real stuff, lol. Im in a 3 year heavy duty equipment trade program. Working on big trucks, heavy equipment, farm equipment and stuff.
As far as the 250R goes, im going to keep the motor mostly stock like I said, but Im going to build up a sweet suspension set-up and do things like rims, axles, a-arms, etc. I've done some minor things to the engine, but just bolt on mostly. Its got a new FMF pipe and pro design billet head. i've removed the stock intake tube for the air box and run it without a lid using the nacs block off kit. It's got a 38mm air stryker carb on it and boyson duel stage reeds with 1/2 inch spacer. Minor stuff mostly, lol. The guy who had it before me painted the front stock gold rims black and did a bad job so it looks like hell. It's got ITP's on the rear and I think im going to go with some hiper beedlocks for the front to really set it off. I've got brand new maier race plastic and front and back AC grab bar and bumper. The suspension on the front now are works tripple rate shocks but they need to be rebuilt. If nothing ever comes through with the a-arms im just going to go with a longtravel set up from LSR and PEP.

What's the deal on being ripped off on the Burgard a-arms? Did you buy them direct through Burgard or off e-bay?
Burgard is right up the road from me. I have purchased steering stems from them. Although a little slow once, he gave me a chrome steering stem for the price of a regular due to the extra 2 weeks wait.

Thanks dude!
The blaster was defently the most ***** to the walls blaster I have ever drove, but it was time for a new project.
The a-arms wern't ordered from burgard, they were through Hollywood Dirt, who has now closed shop and walked away with everyones money and parts.
