Hey...Don't feel bad guys....After my first build....my carbs fell off...(my bad) while my wife was riding it....my wife tried to pull start my quad for 4 miles down a sandy road and sucked a good pound of sand into the motor... I had mine rebuilt twice in less than a year. Bob said my piston looked like a football. I needed everything replaced.

My first 686, I put the short cylinder bolt in the long hole. The first WOT pulled the bolt thru the threads broke and warped the cylinder. I had to do go thru it again. $$

My last piston looked like a football too. There was an air leak where the pro design flange contacts the plastic air box. It had been sucking sand for a year. It's a good idea to RTV the Pro Design to the air box.

Those little things will getcha.
