Banshee (up's&down's)
#1
Well as most of you know I am still trying to sell my blaster. In another post I talked about doing a trade in with a dealer for a Banshee.
Reasons?
1. I am going back to the dealer where I bought the Blaster, he will give me a great deal.
2. I was considering a 400EX, but doubt the Honda boys will give me as good of a trade in as Yamaha.
So now (this weekend) I am going to talk to my old dealer and see what we can do as far as a trade in to for a Shee.
Now a couple of questions on the Banshee.
Realiabilty-shocks, frame, engine, stock tires, etc.
I do a wide variety of riding, hills, trails, hard pack, very little sand (unless we get the chance to go to Waynoka, OK.
Mostly trails and any chance that I can get it wide open
So all you Banshee owners post away.
(I use to own a Banshee but had to sell it due to financial problems, had it for about a whole 2 rides
and Ive only owned 3 quads in my time of riding, 99 Blaster (current) 99 Timberwold (sold) and 99 Banshee (2 whole whoping rides).
NOTE: I cannnot buy a used quad unless dealer has one, I'd rather buy new, new is better after all, must finance.

I've wanted a banshee for the last 5 years. In Sept. I finally got one. It was well worth the wait. They can cruise pretty fast. I bought one that was modded out already (trinity 2-n-1 and others). Maintenance on them can be a pain but that's the price you pay for getting the best high performance quad (in my book anyways!!) Well worth it!!!

JIGA, Sell your Blaster first (Cycle Trader, Yahoo...etc) and then put the money that you got from your blaster down on a banshee. Look around for awhile. I bought a 99 Banshee with less than 5 hours on it from a Honda dealership for $5,100 out the door, didn't have one scratch on it...Have had it for about 11 months and have not had one problem with it! If I was you I wouldn't trade it in...unless they will give you a little less than retail for it. Try to get your loan from a credit union (7%-11%) compared to a yamaha credit card (16%-21%). If your familiar with Desoto (south of Dallas)go to I35 Yamaha and talk with CB (he owns the place) let him know that Mike from Cedar Hill sent you and he'll hook you up...Also I know of someone that has one for sale CHEAP if you can get a loan from a bank or credit union! LET ME KNOW!!!
