I grew up around Corpus Christi, 25yrs and experienced all the storms from 1955-1980, we evacuated a few times, but weathered out many of the storms. The eye of the storm is what you need to watch out for, storm passes, beautiful blue, calm sky and then bang, like a ton of bricks. Now I just have to deal with a few earthquakes, those are pretty scarey because there's no warning.
Around here the earthquakes and for some of us a happa trailer dance sticks out in my mind to be pretty scarey also LOL

I think new orleans is gonna take another pumbling. I couldnt help think that yesterday when the news said it was changing course to the west towards new orleans that God had washed the city now he wants to rinse it. So much for sin city.

I think that new orleans is getting more than a rinse, the levees have already broke again I think in like 3 places and the city is on its way to being under water again they said the water is rising at like 3 inches a minute.

I consider ppl in ct lucky, no earthquakes, tornadoes or hurricanes. The only bad thing up here is the people are very fast paced, and skiddish about a lot of things. I really cant compare to cali or florida though because ive never lived there but my neighbors are from cali and theyre real cool, he just put high compression in his suzuki rf 900 and is racing at lebanon valley in ny

tell me about it... I still have a tree on my house! Luckily, I didn't flood. My shed that houses my ATV's was totaled by that tree, but my bikes were at the parent's place, and prob will be for some time

Oh well, that's why we have insurance! At least I'm not living at the airport like I was for the first 2 1/2 weeks!

I got tons of pics if people want to see
