tips for installing pro flow kit

Default tips for installing pro flow kit

any body have any tips for installing pro flow kits. i got one for my warrior but ive heard on here that you shouild put silicone on the back of the billet peice for a better seal, is this neccesary also i got the foam filter for it becuase i ride mud alot and is there anything i should do to accomodate this better. ive heard of trimming the things that stick from the lid for k And Ns but what should i do. also do i filter the prefilter too or just the inner filter im also thinking of putting an outer ware on it when i go to the dunes. any help

i dont have a warrior,but i didnt use any silicone on the flange for my Grizz,,,,the flange has a "O" ring that is there to create a seal,,,,silicone is a over kill,,,,after you bolt the flange on,nothings getting past the "O" ring

i think you would be way better off with the outerwears rather than a foam pre filter,,,the outerwears fabric absorbs some of the oil you use to coat the filter,and would shed water rather than soak it like the foam would seem to do
