race fuel=aviation fuel?
i work at an airport and every once in a while we have guys come here to buy avgas(117octane lowlead) to run in there dirtbikes and race cars.is this healthy for the bikes?they all say they dilute it 50/50 with car gas but i heard its not good to run leaded fuels in engines not approved for it and its really not good to be caught using it by the EPA.
afoaf owns a warrior and was contemplating spiking his gas with a little avgas but he dont want to shortin the life of his engine.can anyone give me a little help.tanks

Long story short its not the best idea for atvs. From the signature your bike just has bolt ons and will run fine on regular 87 or so octane pump gas. Anything more is a waste of money and potentially damaging to power and could cause excessive carbon build up. If you really want some hard details there are dozens of posts on avgas on this forum, do a quick search and you'll find lots of reading.
