Basically stock or very mildly modified - FMF fatty
Anything with a nice port job and new heads - CPI inframe (assuming they are building durable products again)

Did CPI have some quality control issues at some point? The only problem I have had with them is they tend to leak a little where the pipes meet the cylinders....not a huge deal though.

It's my understanding, and from what I saw personally, that they were having some issues with fit and finish. Poor welds, fast corrosion/peeling coatings, and some fitment problems. This was quite a few months ago and seemed to be rather common on the inframes for a little while. I havent paid much attention to it lately to see if it was resolved. Traditionally I have been a big fan of CPI and didn't hesitate to recommend them, my guess is it was a poor production run.

Yes maddog56 is correct..... I have bought 3 sets of CPI pipes in the last year. 1 set of inframes and 2 sets of drag pipes... I had no problems with the first two sets. But the last set of drag pipes i got were of very poor quality.. The welds were very bad. One of the pipes had a hole burned though on the edge of a very bad weld.. I sent the pipes back and they sent me a replacement set that was just about as bad... I called and talked to (Mike Hair) the owner...
He then sent me a nice set of pipes that is on my big bore cheetah right now

The CPI's are a bit more expensive and are better with engine work, but they sound, look, and perform awesome (just be ready to burn your leg every time you ride)
