as some of you may have read a earlier post my bro just got a z400 sport.now i'm thinking of buying a banshee. will the banshee run with him and i have also heard that banshee go foul out alot of plugs if you don;t kepp the rpm's up on them.any info i could get would be nice.i don't want a yfz and i don't really like a raptor{no offence to you raptor guys}but i have always liked the sound of the 2 stroke going up threw the trails.

 

Stock banshee and stock z400 are about the same.On the drag, the banshee is right beside the z400.And the z400 will beat the banshee on the track and in the trails.Jumping and wheelies the z400 has it.The z400 definately has suspension.I hope i helped a little.

 

are the banshee that rough to ride i have never rode one but i do have a warrior and it beats the crap out of me it ride rough but then again it's a 97 that has been put threw it

 

Stock vs Stock the Banshee will beat a z400 in a drag race.....
A z400 is a better trail quad.....
If a Banshee is running right, it will not foul plugs......
The Banshee can be made faster with just a few bolt-on's ( pipe's, filter, timing advance )

 

I have a banshee that was placed 3rd in the nationals for sale for about 4000.It has 12,000 invested into it and it runs like a dream.I will get some pics up and a list of parts.

 

I have owned a banshee for over a year now and have never fouled a plug. The banshee will run with the z no prob, and for a few hundred bucks will easily beat anything in its class.

 

Exactly how fast would the Banshee go with a few bolt-on's such as a full system pipe, filter, ignition, jets? Would it be able to take on a yfz with the same mods?

 

oh i forgot a banshee has no reverse.hmmm could be a problem on that one.

Something like 50hp or so...... I don't know if it would be able to take a yfz450 with the same or equal bolt-on mods... The yfz450 is pretty fast with a few bolt-on's as well...
However if you port the cylinders the Banshee starts to become quiet a bit faster....
