edelbrock carb for YFZ

Default edelbrock carb for YFZ
whats your opinion regarding these carbs. I am considering this with the ron wood type intake. anybody use a set up like this on a piped and jetted only YFZ? want to know what gains, if any to expect.

Why would you replace a FCR with a Edelbrock?

yes, thats the question I am asking. but, I was looking for a opinion. not necesarily another question

Default edelbrock carb for YFZ
Replacing the FCR with a bigger FCR or other carb may buy you some topend power but the lowend and throttle response will suffer! At the local dirt drags a 39MM FCR is on the fastest stock motored YFZ.

If you want the fastest carb PM KGB he has some dyno charts with a Lectron vs stock carb on a worked YFZ.

I believe the stock FCR will outperform the Edelbrock carb
