Head pipes glowing on a Raptor 660?
#1
I adjusted my valves the other day and took off my stock pipe and repainted it with Aluminum color Ceramic High Temp paint. I tested it out tonight and noticed that the pipes were glowing from the head to the bend (about 6 inches) on the pipe. Is this normal or did I F something up? I think it may be idling a little fast. Heard that may have something to do with it. Any suggestions?

Yea people are saying that is normal, but I didn't notice it before. Then again I do most of my riding in the day time. The wheel covers are made from aluminum. I thought about making and selling some but didn't know if people would want any or not. I had to drill holes in the lip of the wheel and use cut off sheetmetal screws to hold them on. Probably make a good number plate for the back wheels.

yea i think ima try and make some sometime... i got the reinforced rims on my ds650 baja and dirt, snow, ice all get jammed in there all the time then make the wheel shake like its bent so those would really help.
