grizz or brute force

i own a 02 yam big bear and really like it for what it is. (it's been a bullet-proof two-wheel drive machine) it's time to go for more power. i'm torn...06 grizz or 06 brute force 750? what are the comparison of HP and torque between the two? after sitting on the BF I could feel the 3" difference in seat height compared to my BB and even the 2" difference in the grizz. with the higher center of gravity in the BF, can you compensate for that with a wider tire/wheel combo?...thoughts?

thats a hard call...one advantage I believe that the grizzly has is that its been around for awhile and the suspension handles better than the Brute Force.....but when you talk motors/horsepower, the BF wins hands down.....
I wish they changed the suspension on the BF for '06, but they didn't....I know people put Fox shocks on them which fixed the roll feel in corners and believe me, they are hard to slide in corners....
I own a '05 Polaris 700 EFI and can slide it through any corner, same with my friends Grizzly....but when I took another guys BF...it was scary going around corners....the wheelies were fun, but other than that....

You'll be happy either way you go. My dealership sells Yamaha, Kawasaki and Polaris so I got to try them all. I liked the way the Grizzly fit me. And there is nothing that the BF or 800 sportsman can do that the Grizzly can't except maybe pop wheelies and I'm not into that anyway. Plus I liked the looks of the Griz better and they have a good mechanical history.
It comes down to what kind of deal you can get. Right now you can get a winch with the Yamaha for $65. Not sure what the other brands offer.

there is definitely some good deals on '05 machines out there, the dealers are trying to clear out their inventory.......Starky is right, you can't really go wrong with any of the machines, so it comes down to preference, see which machine fits your bill

If you are planning on being in water go with the Grizzly. Unless you are planning on snorkeling the Brute. A buddy of mine had his in a hole(pictures in profile) and on his second run it just plain quit. He had to change all fluids, have his carb cleaned, and new air filter etc. From what I understand Brute Force's are not good in water unless you are snorkeling it.

I would not purchase either of those machines, as I think the Grizzly has been outclassed in the power department, and the Brute Force was outclassed in the handling department from day one. Take a good long look at the Bombardier Outlander 800, which is the best of the big bore 4x4 class right now.

i think you would love both of those quads. i was also torn between the two and decided to get the grizzly only because i think it looks better and i like yamahas. pluz i like the handling. those are the only reasons y i chose a grizz instead of the brute. i think ull be happy with any of the two. actually..... i think u'd like basically any big-bore out there at the moment... it just depends on which brand you like more. lol. if u are a polaris lover, than pick the sportsman.... yami lover than grizz..... kawi loved than brute..... honda lover.... so on and so on. every big bore out on the market right now have their advantages and disadvantages.
