I hope its a YFZ 250. My youngest kid needs one [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img].

I would have thought a new grizz would be in before any new sport quads, but the only thing I would bet on would be a blaster replacement.

I highly doubt it. I don't really want to go into detail, but a 250f engine wouldn't perform well in a quad. If it is a 250 sport, it will be a entry level sport quad to replace the Blaster.

Hmm...and your logic is? Seems perfectly practical to me and it's been done a few times by manufactures, just not directly with their dirtbike 250 engines. I bet people said the same thing about the YZF450 engine too, but a little different cam timing here, little mod here, little adjustment there, and BAM! Perfect for a quad. If they use the engine straight out of the 250f than it will most definitly be detuned and changed a bit. I don't think Yamaha will mate it with an auto clutch or auto tranny though like some other companies have.
