I can't wait to find out if "All of the Above" was worth it.

Ahhh yes, money is no object in the pursuit of hp....at least we keep telling oursleves that..........

I feel a little foolish that I spent ????? to make my Raptor lower & wider & longer & bigger & stronger & etc etc...... only to watch Yamaha redesign it incorporating 85% of the mods I just installed plus they added fuel injection!!! I have no one to blame but myself since I remember filling out the survey they sent asking me if I would pay another $500 for fuel injection, "hell ya I said" .....If they sent me another survey I would kindly ask them for an affordable fuel injection retrofit for the 2001...2005 Raptor owners....doubt they care though & not sure if it would be worth it. Maybe I would change my mind the next time I have to rejet again just because its raining on ride day, seems like that just happened.....

I guess you FCR carb owners are happy with the performance you gained over the stock cv carbs? I thought about upgrading to the 35mm FCRs but wouldn't mind seeing/hearing about the dyno or seat of the pants difference. I am still strongly biased towards the stockers since I spent countless hours figuring out how to jet them with all the mods & the temp/humidity/alt changes.

The FCR's are one of the best upgrades for a 660 Raptor. Way better then the stockers in every aspect.

FCRs have a much better bottom end, you don't have to wait for vacuum to build for fuel to flow. Their float system is more sturdy than the stockers. Their needle valve/seats will seal with thin race gas for higher compression motors. FCR slides won't bounce in the whoops like the stock vacuum operated slides. FCRs are more forgiving about jetting on the rich side of safe.

I've read about impressive dyno numbers from a Raptor with stock carbs when they are upgraded to flow more fuel.
