Default Benifits of Dual a arms?

What is the benifits of having dual a-arms? Well, atleast i think thats what they are called. Like, most minis have only one one each side, while bigger, sport quads have two on each side, one connecting at the bottom. how does it help in performance?

it keeps the wheels vertical when the suspension travels. If you watch closely on a quad with single a-arms the wheels will tilt in and out as the suspension works. It also keeps a more constant tire contact area on the ground so you're not putting as much stress on the sidewalls. i'm not sure, but I think it's also a stronger design. there's probably other advantages that I don't know of, but mostly it gives the quad better handling and suspension characteristics.
